Milwaukee, WI - The Milwaukee, Wisconsin based trial and litigation law firm, Gimbel, Reilly, Guerin & Brown, LLP has announced that they will be sponsoring the Wisconsin ALS Association's Black Tie Gala, the Evening of Hope. The event, which began in 1993, will be held on March 24, 2012 at the Hyatt Regency in Milwaukee. The Evening of Hope enjoys an average attendance of over 500 people and features silent and voice auctions, dinner, speakers and dancing.

The Evening of Hope was the brainchild of Jeff Kaufman, a former partner of GRGB, who succumbed to Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS), also known as Lou Gehrig's Disease, in March 2010. Kaufman, who battled the disease for 21 years (80% of those with ALS die with five years of diagnosis), led the charge in raising funds for ALS research along with his wife Jan, working tirelessly to organize and plan the Evening of Hope event.

The lawyers and staff at GRGB have been a part of the Evening of Hope since the event's inception in 1993. "We knew we had to be a part of this event and help Jeff with his fight. The GRGB family fought alongside him during his long and courageous battle with ALS, and now we fight in his memory," notes Kathryn A. Keppel, partner at GRGB and President of the ALS Association-Wisconsin Chapter.
