Each year, the Community Choice Awards polls local communities across the country to choose the best businesses and organizations in their areas. Gimbel, Reilly, Guerin & Brown LLP Partner Jason Luczak Honored With State Bar of Wisconsin’s Young Lawyers Division Mentoring Award
Milwaukee, WI — The Milwaukee, Wisconsin based trial and litigation law firm of Gimbel, Reilly, Guerin & Brown, LLP (GRGB) is pleased to announce that Partner Jason Luczak was honored at the State Bar of Wisconsin’s Member Recognition Celebration with the Young Lawyers Division Mentoring Award. The award is designed to pay tribute to a Wisconsin Attorney who has made an exceptional contribution to the life and career of a young attorney. The nominee must also have six or more years of practice experience, be a member of the State Bar of Wisconsin and have been in good standing with the State of Wisconsin for more than 12 months.
Attorney Luczak is head of the Criminal Defense and Appellate Team at GRGB. He is also an Adjunct Associate Professor of Law, teaching the trial skills competition course at Marquette University Law School. He also coached the Marquette National Moot Court Competition team and is Chair of the Criminal Defense Section of the Milwaukee Bar Association as well as Past President of the Milwaukee Young Lawyers Association. Attorney Luczak has appeared on CourtTV as a regular commentator, been named an “Up-and-Coming Lawyer” by the Wisconsin Law Journal and a “Rising Star in Law” by the BizTimes. Jason has fought tirelessly for prisoner’s rights, doing pro bono cases that have resulted in landmark wins for the under-represented population.

In 1968, after arguing some of the most high-profile cases of the day as a federal prosecutor for the Eastern District of Wisconsin, Franklyn M. Gimbel founded the firm. Milwaukee Justice Center Annual Run For Justice One Week From Today!
Milwaukee, WI — On Wednesday, June 14, 2023, at 6pm, the 12th Annual Run for Justice will take place at Veteran’s Park on Milwaukee’s Lakefront. Proceeds will benefit the Milwaukee Justice Center which is the civil legal aid self-help center located within the Milwaukee County Courthouse.
This is a 5k route (and 1 mile walk) and the public is invited to participate in the run and enjoy the post-race bash with live music, beverages, food trucks (RoseMob Grill and Kona Ice) and prizes as well! The live band will be Blind Hill and Anna Maria Hodges will emcee the event. There will even be a guest appearance by Bernie Brewer! Winners will be recognized in several different categories and awards will be presented to stand-out MJC Volunteers. Milwaukee, WI — The Milwaukee, Wisconsin based trial and litigation law firm of Gimbel, Reilly, Guerin & Brown, LLP is pleased to announce that Partners Jason Luczak and Nicole Masnica were awarded the Kuchler-Nicholson-Stilling Sensitive Crimes Award (KNS Award) by the Wisconsin Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers (WACDL).
The KNS Award was created in 2021 to honor defense attorneys who have secured acquittals in cases alleging felony sexual assault of either an adult or a child.
WACDL seeks to acknowledge and honor the particular combination of sensitivity, toughness, research, and trial advocacy skills necessary to achieve acquittals in these especially challenging cases. The laws surrounding sexual assault prosecutions are complicated and dynamic, and typically require attorneys that try these cases to develop specialized knowledge of medical evidence such as SANE results, DNA evidence, protocols regarding videotaped interviews with child witnesses, and, of course, how to effectively pierce rape shield.

GRGB Welcomes Attorney Zak Wroblewski To Their Civil Litigation Group
Milwaukee, WI — — The Milwaukee, Wisconsin based trial and litigation law firm of Gimbel, Reilly, Guerin & Brown, LLP (GRGB) is pleased to announce the addition of Attorney Zak Wroblewski to the firm’s litigation team. Zak graduated from Marquette University Law School in 2022 and before joining the firm, represented clients in various criminal and civil legal matters at a small firm in Milwaukee. Zak is admitted to practice in Wisconsin.
While attending law school, Zak served an internship with the Honorable Brian Hagedorn of the Wisconsin Supreme Court. He also clerked for a large local personal injury firm, where he assisted the firm’s lawyers in representing injured plaintiffs. Attorney Wroblewski will be coaching the Wagner Moot Court Team for Labor and Employment Law in NYC and up until recently, was active in the city of Milwaukee working as the “Bernie Brewer” mascot for the Milwaukee Brewers.
